Hanney from Hawaii - visited April 2017
Ms. Carola was very trustworthy & intuitive. She strives to bring the best local culture & cuisine to you. She designed my full day private tour taking me to the famous pilgrimage place that most people won't even know. My 1st highlight) . After Valparaiso (2nd highlight) she purposely detour to the beaten track of St. Augustine - the view is so stunning & the fresh aboloney seafood local cuisine is mouth watering! If I had took a group tour, I would not have known all these local treasures & beaten tracks. I took a group tour the very next day.. wow! What a difference . No comparison at all. Now you are a part of my picturesque Santiago! Thank you, Carola! Plus she helped me booking Atacama tour, which was not even her duty.. which saved me additional $300!

Flew into Santiago late got bags and through customs, there waiting for us was Carola , warm and tired out from long flight it was a relief to she her there waiting for us. Showed us where to wait as she got her van . Then transferred to hotel, with a lot of chili history and info along the way. At drop off we told her what we would like on our city tour next day. Stated another driver would be picking us up as she had another tour. Next morning right on time Hernan the driver picked us up for city tour. Toured all points of city and went up funicular, which we requested, and stopped at gem store , another request. During tour we where greatly informed about history of Santiago and surrounding area, he was a wealth of information. Next morning Carola met us on time again for tour to Valparaiso and area to catch cruise ship. Stopped at organic winery, and very informative tour of Valparaiso and area, going into the hills of the area most tours wouldn't see. Carola even had more to show us but I said like to get to ship for checking. I would recommend this group if ever going to Santiago or even just a day tour off the boat. I've read nothing but good reviews about this company so I booked them 10 to 11 months before our trip to be sure to get them. Felt like touring with family member with bot guides. Loved the two and half days with this group. Thanks for the info and memories.
do some touring in Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar, then through Casablanca wine country, then a drive around Santiago
before dropping us at the airport.
Her colleague, Luis was there to meet us,
Gave us a lovely tour of the highlights of Valpo and Vina. We then did some wine tasting at a beautiful organic winery in the Casablanca Valley. We had lunch at a Huaso restaurant and had wonderful typical food from the region. After lunch he took us to a dessert type bakery and treated us to a couple of absolutely delicious desserts. The place was filled with Chileans purchasing pastries for home or gifts. No tourists in sight st either place.
We then drove around Santiago with Luis explaining as we went. We had both been there a number of times and it was wonderful to see again. He then took us to the airport and got us organized so check-in would be easy for us.
I am a travel agent in California and cannot imagine how the day could have been any better or informative, or fun. Luis is a very knowledgeable and intelligent and fun guy. We learned alot about local living from him. Our thanks to Carola for the arrangements and Luis for s terrific day. Great success to you both!
